๐ Event Summary: Plantation & Awareness Program

Objective
To celebrate World Environment Day by engaging the community and students in tree plantation activities and raising awareness on environmental conservation and sustainable living.
Planned Tasks During the Event
๐ฑ 1. Plantation Drive
- Planting of 100+ saplings in Premchand Colony Park and the school grounds.
- Selection of native, environment-friendly trees (e.g., Neem, Peepal, Jamun, Gulmohar).
- Sapling care kits (soil, fertilizer, mulch) provided to each planter.
๐ง 2. Student Participation
- Students of Prathmik Vidyalaya to take part in planting and watering saplings.
- Drawing and poster-making competition on the theme “Our Earth, Our Responsibility”.
- Eco-skit or street play performed by students highlighting pollution and deforestation.
๐ฃ 3. Awareness Campaign
- Brief talks on:
- Climate change and environmental protection
- Importance of planting trees
- Waste segregation and recycling
- Distribution of pamphlets and flyers on green practices.
โ 4. Environmental Pledge
- All participants (students, teachers, residents) to take an oath to protect the environment and nurture the planted saplings.
๐งน 5. Cleanliness Drive
- Park and school premises to be cleaned before and after the event.
- Emphasis on plastic-free zones and proper waste disposal.

- Photography and videography to record the event.
- Social media updates and a short event video to be shared post-event.
